Welcome to Snuggle Story Time. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Snuggle Story Time ("Snuggle Story Time," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by L&J Connection Inc. By creating an account or using our website and services (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any child whose information you add to the Service. The Service is intended for adults to create stories for children, with children using it only under the supervision of a parent or guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that you have the authority to provide any information you submit, including information about your children.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Please notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
Some features are free; others require a paid Premium subscription. Subscriptions, free trials, prices, and billing are processed by our payment provider, Stripe.
"Your Content" means the information you provide, such as names, ages, interests, photos, and story requests. You retain ownership of Your Content. You grant us a limited license to use, store, and process Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service — including sending it to our AI providers to generate stories and illustrations for you.
The stories and images the Service generates for you ("Generated Content") are created by artificial intelligence based on Your Content. Subject to these Terms and your subscription, you may use Generated Content for your personal, non-commercial family use. Because Generated Content is produced by AI, it may occasionally contain inaccuracies or imperfections, and similar content may be generated for other users. You are responsible for reviewing Generated Content before sharing it.
If you upload photos, you confirm that you have the right to do so and consent to our processing them (including by our AI provider) to generate illustrated characters. Do not upload photos of anyone without the right and consent to do so. We do not use uploaded photos to train AI models.
You agree not to use the Service to create, request, or upload content that is unlawful, harmful, sexual, violent, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate, particularly given that the Service is designed for children. We use automated and other safeguards to keep content child-appropriate and may block requests, remove content, or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. You also agree not to misuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content (excluding Your Content and Generated Content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Generated Content will meet your expectations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or in the app). Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Hanover County, Virginia.
